Laura Hight
Executive Director
Laura is a graduate of WGU and lifelong Cowlitz County resident. She has been serving at the mediation center since 2021 and is trained in advanced family, landlord/tenant and workplace mediation techniques. Before joining CMC, Laura spent nearly 20 years in retail and restaurant management across SW Washington.
Laura loves living in the PNW and enjoys hiking, thrifting, true crime podcasts, mixed-media arts and indoor snowboarding. She lives in Longview with her husband, Chris, their five kids, and assorted dogs, cats and rabbits. Email Me! Click HERE

Jane Beck
Program Manager-Lewis
Jane is from the United Kingdom, but has made Washington State her home. She has extensive background in community justice work and is a certified notary. Jane and her husband enjoy murder mysteries, thrift shopping and metal detecting along the coast. Her favorite quote is: "Be yourself, everyone else is taken."

Louise Heiman
Case Manager
Before moving to Washington seven years with her husband, Louise has lived in California, Texas and Japan. She enjoys game nights, rock hounding, spending time with friends or a good book and, of course, wrangling her four dogs! Louise is passionate about making a positive impact in her community through acts of service and building relationships.
She loves working with the public and being a problem solver.

Marsha Treadway
Case Manager/ Community Liaison
Marsha has been a resident of Kelso, WA since 1984 when she moved up from Southern California. She graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in Buena Park, CA. She has been employed with the Community Mediation Center as an Early Resolution Specialist since 2021. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, hiking, traveling and spending time with family, friends, but especially her five grandchildren.

Lisa Knox
Housing Program Case Manager
Lisa and her husband moved to Longview in 2015 to be closer to family. She has an extensive background in government programs and adult education & training. She has been a volunteer mediator with CMC since 2024 and loves the facilitative mediation model. In her spare time Lisa love to visit with her family, care for her menagerie of critters and practice her machine embroidery skills.

Gail Bishop
Case Manager
Gail grew up in the PNW and has lived in other parts of the country, but the west side of Washington is her favorite. She has lived in Kelso for the past 12 years with her family. She has always had a drive to help people and make genuine, caring connections. Gail enjoys volunteering around the Lower Columbia communities. In addition to volunteering, her other time investments include, knitting, sewing, reading, and traveling.

Gail Bishop

Leah Moore
Program Manager- Cowlitz
Leah is very involved in her community, serving on the Kelso School Board, volunteering her time to serve others and supporting her three kids in their many sports and activities. She enjoys camping and kayaking in her free time. Leah works with individuals in conflict and guides them through the mediation process, step by step, answering questions and providing outstanding service.
